Welcome to new CEO, Ross Wilkinson

We are delighted to welcome our new WesCom Chief Executive Officer, Ross Wilkinson.

Ross was previously Regional Vice-President of Survitec, where he managed all business activities across Northern Europe, and has held various senior management positions in the maritime industry, including Navimo Group, Orolia Group Ltd (formerly McMurdo).

He started work at Chief Executive Officer on 1 August 2020 and is responsible for the group growth strategy and management of the business. He will be implementing a number of strategic projects aimed at improving the brand’s service levels and value proposition to its customers, further enhancing its position as a leading critical safety supplier

Ross says, “In fact, I’ve been responsible for selling and distributing pyrotechnics for over 16 years, so I am fortunate to be familiar with the WesCom products and applications, but luckily enough not to need them in a real situation. I live in Southern England with my wife and two daughters, and we try to get out on the water as much as possible.”

Commenting on his appointment, Ross says, “WesCom Signal and Rescue is renowned as the leading manufacturer and supplier of pyrotechnic distress and safety signals throughout the marine and maritime sector. We have ambitious plans for the future, and have some exciting new projects in the pipeline to further enhance our position as the number one brand of pyrotechnics.”
