Smoke flare aids coast guard rescue in Queensland

Four men have been rescued after setting off a smoke flare when their boat capsized off the Queensland coast, in Australia.
The water police asked Tin Can Bay Coast Guard to search for an overturned vessel near the Wide Bay Bar off the Sunshine Coast one day in April, the coast guard reports on its Facebook page.
The crew of Cooloola Rescue 3 spotted a smoke flare nearer to Rainbow Beach. They found four men clinging to the hull of their 6-metre boat.
They took the men on board and tried to tow the vessel, but the rope broke. The boat was subsequently recovered.
The four were taken to the Bullock Point ramp and were uninjured.
