Some major marine trade shows normally attended by WesCom Signal and Rescue have been rescheduled due to Covid-19.
November’s METSTRADE show in Amsterdam was cancelled and the next live show is in November 2021. Meanwhile, to aid networking, the METSTRADE Connect virtual platform was launched in December 2020.
The company issued a statement, saying, “WesCom Signal and Rescue would usually be attending the METSTRADE exhibition in Amsterdam. METS always provides us with the perfect opportunity to meet with our valued distributors and customers and we are saddened that we are unable to do so this year. The WesCom business continues to operate as normal and the team are available if there is anything you wish to discuss. We look forward to returning to METSTRADE in 2021 and hope to see you all soon.”
SMM, the maritime trade fair in Hamburg, which was scheduled for September 2020, will now take place from 2-5 February 2021 as SMM DIGITAL and will remain online for one and a half years until next SMM in September 2022.
Southampton Boat Show, which was due to be held from 11-20 September 2020 will now not take place until September 2021.
Posidonia was originally due to take place in Athens in June 2020, but was postponed until October. It has since been cancelled altogether. The next show is now in June 2022.
