A Canadian Air Force helicopter crew found a missing rented boat on Lake Erie after spotting flares.
Coast Guard rescue boats joined a Canadian Forces Griffon helicopter to assist in the December nighttime search near Turkey Point, Ontario.
The helicopter crew saw a flare, found the boat and towed it back to the marina, say Norfolk County police officers. Everyone aboard was said to be unhurt.
