In the current landscape of heightened danger from terrorists and criminals lacking access to sophisticated bomb-making equipment, Peroxide Explosives pose a significant threat.
These explosives, characterised by high force and low stability, can be detonated by minor shocks, thermal disturbance, or small electrical currents, making them particularly hazardous. Wescom Defence, in collaboration with UK authorities in explosives and nerve agent detection, introduces the Peroxide Explosive Response Kit (PERK). PERK is designed to mitigate the risks of detonation, safeguarding the lives of both service personnel and the public.
